Select a Good Installation Place
1. Choose a large place with good lighting for easier operation and maintenance.
2. The installation site should have low humidity, less dust, clean air, and be well ventilated.
3. The ambient temperature should be below 40℃, because a higher ambient temperature will lead to less compressed air production.
4. A pre-filter should be installed in a dusty environment.
5. Access road reserved, or possible crane for easier maintenance.
6. Maintenance space reserved, with at least 70cm distance between the compressor and the wall.
7. There should be at least 1m distance between the top of the compressor and the ceiling.
8. For air-cooling units, we suggest a guide dust installation to guide the hot air outside.

Precautions for Piping, Foundation and Cooling System

Precautions for Piping
1. When installing the main pipe, the pipe should have 1° ~ 2° gradients in order to discharge condensate water.
2. The pressure loss in the pipeline shall not exceed 5% of compressor pressure, so it is better to use larger diameter pipe.
3. The extension pipe must join the top of the main pipeline in case cooling water flows into the equipment. It is better to use a one way valve in the exit pipe.
4. Several compressors installed in series, ball valve or automatic drain valve should be installed to facilitate condensation water discharge.
5. Don't narrow down the main pipeline. If you have to zoom in or zoom out the pipe, please choose reducing pipe, otherwise there will be mixed in the joints, resulting in pressure loss, and it will also affect the life of the pipeline.
6. The ideal pipeline should be composed of compressor, gas-water separator, air receiver, pre air filter, air dryer, after air filter, precise air filter. The air receiver can remove some of the condensate water, reduce the compressed air temperature, and relieve the load of the dryer and filter.
7. If the system requires a larger amount of compressed air in a short time, an air receiver with capacity larger than 20 percent of the instant air flow should be installed. It can reduce the frequency of loading and unloading, and the movement of control component, which will bring a great benefit to the compressor reliability.
8. If the system pressure is below 1.5MPa, the flow speed in pipe should be less than 15m/sec in order to avoid pressure loss.
9. Minimize the use of the elbows and all kinds of valves to reduce the pressure loss.
10. The ideal piping is that the main pipeline surrounds the whole workshop, user can get the compressed air in any location, it can reduce the pressure drop if the branch line greatly increases the need of compressed air in a short time. The appropriate valve should be installed for maintenance.

Precautions for Foundation
1. Foundations should be built on hard ground. Before installation, the ground should be leveled to avoid noise caused by compressor vibration.
2. If the compressor is installed in the upstairs, shockproof measures should be taken to prevent vibration transmitted to downstairs or resonance, which will put the compressor and the building under security risk.
3. The screw compressor does not need a fixed foundation because it makes little vibration. However, it is better to cover a 5-10mm cushion or shockproof pad at the bottom of the compressor to prevent vibration and noise.

Precautions for Cooling System
1. When using an air cooling compressor, ventilation must be considered. Don't install the compressor near high temperature equipment, in case the compressor takes in high temperature air, which can lead to system failure.
2. When the compressor is installed in a smaller space, a pump or ventilation equipment should be installed for better ventilation. The air exhaust capacity of the ventilation equipment must be greater than the cooling fan, and the position of the suction opening and the hot-blast outlet should match.
